My name is Rainy Day Worzella and I am the owner of Art Village inc. in Stevens Point,WI. The purpose of this blog is to communicate with those who have an interest in the Art Village community. Even though we are currently located in WI, we hope to expand our brick and mortar community to include online participants as well. This is the first step in that direction.
Right now, Art Village is a physical place where people of all backgrounds and artistic skill levels can come and create art by using our studio space, or by taking a class. We have classes and workshops for kids and adults that include pottery, drawing, painting, jewelry, stained glass, mosaics, photography and tons more. We are in the process of creating a gallery where artists can display and sell their work as well. We also have a Paint Your Own Pottery Studio for those who want to come and relax and paint something easy that they can use.
We hope to be able to offer online classes, discussions, and gallery shows. So as things develop, we’ll keep posting.
